CHANDIGARH: Haryana’s Covid-19 testing on Tuesday crossed the 10 lakh mark while 1, 148 new cases and 10 deaths took state’s coronavirus count to 56,608 and 623 deaths. Haryana’s transport minister Mool Chand Sharma and former bureaucrat Dhanpat Singh were among those tested positive for the disease.
Meanwhile, the recoveries in the state had further gone upto 46,496 as 1,091 patients were discharged on Tuesday after they were tested negative. With this there are total 9,489 active patients including 220 critical one. The recovery rate dipped slightly to 82.14% and the doubling rate remained stable at 33 days.
With a rate of 39,518 tests per million as many as 10,00,1781 persons have been tested so far in the state. Out of them 93,8914 are found to be negative.
Notably, as the testing increases so is the number of persons being tested positive in the state. Four districts namely Faridabad, Panipat, Gurugram and Rewari reported more than 100 new patients each.
Faridabad recorded highest 132 new patients and two deaths. Here the overall total has gone upto 11,982 with 164 deaths. With total 11,042 recoveries there total 778 active patients. Rewari reported second highest 129 new patients in a day where the total has gone upto 3,176, Gurugram reported 114 new patients where the total has gone upto 11176 With 10188 recoveries there are 857 active patients. While . Panipat reported 109 new patients and the total has gone upto 3,057,
Karnal reported 80 new patients and one death taking the district total to 2237 patients 23 deaths. Hisar reported 74 new patients where the total has gone upto 1782. Rohtak reported 72 new patients which took the district total to /2667 and Ambala reported 71 new patients and one death where total has gone to 3299 patients and 28 deaths.
Sirsa reported 70 new patients followed by 52 patients in Kurukshetra district. Kaithal reported 51 new patients and four deaths as the total has gone upto 751 new patients and nien deaths. Fatehabad reported 34 new patients and 1 death where total has gone upto 725 patients and 6 deaths. Similarly Sonipat too reported 34 new patients, 32 in Jind and 31 in Yamunanagar.
Panchkula reported 20 new patients and one death where total has gone upto 1657 with 13 deaths. Bhiwani reported 13 patients followed by 12 of Mahindergarh. Jhajjar reported eight new patients followed by seven in Palwal and three in Nuh district.
