Mumbai: Worker molests minor patient at Covid hospital, held | Mumbai News – Times of India

MUMBAI: A 20-year-old sanitisation worker has been arrested for allegedly molesting a minor admitted to a BMC-run Covid centre at Mankhurd around 3am on Monday. The accused, Deepesh Salvi, a resident of Deonar, had entered the room on the 13th floor where the 17-year-old was admitted on the pretext of cleaning it, said an official of Mankhurd police station.
The girl alerted health workers who handed him over him to the police. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya had tweeted about the incident. Senior inspector Prakash Chougale said Salvi has been booked under Pocso and is in police custody.
