Talking about Hyderabad’s bowling, then you can only say that they started well and ended well. What about the middle then? They were taken to the cleaners by the young lad Padikkal. After the first time out, they managed to regroup and cameback with a bang to take two quick wickets. They were successful in keeping the duo of Kohli and ABD to just singles and doubles which yielded the reward of Kohli’s wicket. De Villiers though managed to sail through but he too fell just before the innings ended. For the men in orange, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the stand out performer with the ball though he failed to take wickets. Natarajan, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan all ended up conceding in excess of 7 runs per over. Mitchell Marsh limped off the field after facing some issues with his hamstring and did not comeback to bowl. Vijay Shankar filling up for him started poorly but came back good. In the end, Hyderabad would hope that they have done a fairly good job with the ball and now it’s their batters who needs to step up.
